RHUBARB & SLOES


Rhubarb baked in sloe gin 
(Recipe from Nigel Slater; Tender II)

750g rhubarb
100g sugar
120ml sloe gin
2tbsp water

Bake 160°C for 40mins – 1 hour

A little madness in the Spring
Is wholesome even for the King.
